Sign of the Apocalypse, II
Okay, Georgia Legislators attempting to bring back the gold standard? Unbelievable. Biz Chron subscribers can learn more here. What is wrong with these guys (1, 2)? Do they have nothing better to focus their energy on?
Not to get all historical on you, but Peter Temin demonstrated rather conclusively that international adherence to the gold standard after WWI was a major contributing factor to the Great Depression.
