Failout
This is why people are so jaded about politics. The Senate has the courage to actually pass the bill, and then we learn it is full of crap like tax breaks for makers of wooden arrows and rum producers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Unbelievable.

Some MoC's got greedy and received "special" benefits in the plan, but there's also some good additions:
Raising, from $100,000 to $250,000, the limit on federal deposit insurance.
Keep the alternative minimum tax from hitting 20 million middle-income Americans, which appeals to lawmakers in both parties.
Provide $8 billion in tax relief for those hit by natural disasters in the Midwest, Texas and Louisiana.
